Six of the nine candidates for the position of Governor of Gagauzia that had already been registered received their credentials from the Central Electoral Commission created in the autonomy. Beginning today, they can officially conduct promotion campaigns.

Valentin Cara, chairman of the CEC of Gagauzia, created for the elections of Bashkan, presented credentials to Valerii Ianioglo, Serghei Buzadji, Nicolai Dudoglo, Oleg Caici and Oleg Garizan. Irina Vlah also received her credentials. The ceremony of presentation of credentials was not attended by three of the registered candidates — Ruslan Garbali, Alexandr Stoianoglo, and Serghei Cernev. // gagauzinfo.md

Nicolai Dudoglo, candidate for Bashkan and MP representing the Democratic Party of Moldova, presented his team and electoral platform. The event took place on Monday, 2 February.

According to Dudoglo, the main points of his program include creation of jobs, growth of the budget, and increased efficiency of the education and health systems. // gagauzinfo.md
