The ballots for the elections of Bashkan and elections for the People’s Assembly of Gagauzia will be mauve and beige
According to the announcement made by Valentin Cara, chairman of the Central Electoral Commission, in compliance with the law on the functionality of languages in the region, ballots will be printed in three languages — Gagauz, Moldovan, and Russian.
Following consultations, the CEC decided that ballots for the elections of Bashkan will be light mauve, and ballots for the partial elections of the People’s Assembly, which will take place in electoral districts 22 and 28 (in the villages of Gaidari and Congaz), will be beige.
The CEC also announced at its meeting that the Information and Security Service of the Republic of Moldova will be involved to help the CEC of Gagauzia ensure the safety of ballots. // gagauzinfo.md
Ruslan Garbali, who competes as a candidate for the position of Governor, presented his electoral program to voters. The event took place at the Community Center in Comrat on Saturday, 21 February.
