Ambassadors of EU countries in Moldova to meet candidates for Bashkan
On Monday, 9 March, Gagauzia will be visited by the heads of diplomatic missions of the EU countries. The agenda of the European diplomats’ visit to the autonomy includes meetings with all candidates for the position of the Bashkan of Gagauzia, heads of non-governmental organizations, and communication with the media.

Irina Vlah proposed to “consolidate efforts” to Serghei Buzadji
Independent candidate for the position of Bashkan Irina Vlah proposed to another participant of the electoral race, Serghei Buzadji, to “consolidate efforts” and go for the elections as a single team.
Irina Vlah expressed the opinion that the “Moldovan puppeteer” uses the same political technology in the Bashkan elections of 2015 as in the parliamentary elections of 30 November last year. The electoral race had been entered by a number of contestants who have one goal — “to split to the maximum the votes of the Gagauz people, thus ensuring the entrance of Nikolai Dudoglo, candidate for Europe, into the second round.”
In these conditions, according to Vlah, “all patriotic forces, committed to deepening collaboration with the regions of the Russian Federation,” should band together. // gagauzinfo.md

Serghei Buzadji not surprised by Irina Vlah’s proposal
Candidate for Bashkan Serghei Buzadji was not surprised by Irina Vlah’s proposal to “consolidate efforts” in order to go for elections as a single team, since, in his opinion, their programs have a similar vision on the settlement of some essential issues in the autonomy. Moreover, the two candidates’ electoral platforms coincide in some key elements.

The Central Electoral Commission of Gagauzia published a financial report on the funds received by candidates for the position of Bashkan. The total amount of the electoral fund is:
