Biographical Data

Valeri Efremov was born on 7 April 1947 in Raspopeni village, Soldanesti. He is engineer-electrician. In early 1990s he was head of the publishing house “Concordia-Vesta”. Since 1999 he is Chairman of the Republican Party of Moldova, which took part in the 2001 parliamentary elections as part of the Electoral Bloc “Edinstvo” (Unity). The bloc received 7277 votes, which was 0,46% of the overall number of valid votes.
