The number of candidacies of members of electoral constituency councils and electoral offices of voting stations with the right to deliberative vote
CEC adopted the decision on number of candidacies of members of electoral constituency councils and electoral offices of voting stations with the right to deliberative vote proposed by constituency courts, local councils, parties, and other social-political organisations represented in Moldova at the November 27-scheduled new local elections. Candidacies for the Chisinau municipal electoral constituency council will be proposed as it follows: sector courts 2 persons; local council 2 persons; the Party of Moldovan Communists 4 persons; Our Moldova Alliance 2 persons; the Christian Democratic People’s Party 1 person.
CEC approved the schedule of actions stipulated by Electoral Code regarding organisation and conduct of new local elections
The same day, CEC approved the schedule of actions stipulated by Electoral Code regarding organisation and conduct of new local elections for the post of mayor-general of the Chisinau municipality. Under provisions of the Election Code and schedule, candidates to the Chisinau mayor-general office must be appointed till October 27, midnight.
