The Chisinau municipal electoral council has registered two candidates for the position of general mayor of Chisinau: the representative of Social Liberal Party, Olga Nicolenco, and the representative of Ecologist Party “Green Alliance”, Oleg Cernei.

Though only one month has remained until the elections day other three aspirants are waiting to be registered by the municipal electoral council and only after that they will be permitted to start their campaigns.
