The PL joined the campaign for the general local elections
The Liberal Party (PL) has joined the campaign for the general local elections of 14 June with the slogan “They stole from us, they betrayed us, it’s time to do justice.”
In his speech, liberal Dorin Chirtoaca, current Chisinau mayor and the PL candidate for the same office, accused the people in government of having given “no money to the capital” and of “constantly throwing obstacles” in his way.
He also declared that his main rival in the electoral campaign will be Vladimir Putin, hinting at socialists. The PL Chairman Mihai Ghimpu accused the current governing circles of being “the ones who stole the billion of Euros from the country’s banking system.” After finishing their speeches, the liberals organized a car march through the capital with the flags of their party and of the European Union. // adevarul.md
