After submitting documents, Grigore Petrenco said that the proposal to run for the general mayor’s office as representative of the “Casa noastră — Moldova (Our House — Moldova)” political party, whose leader he is, came from party members. The party also intends to propose a list of candidates for the offices of councilors in the Chisinau Municipality Council (CMC). Grigore Petrenco said that his party joins these elections throughout the country under the slogan “Power must be changed”, while its slogan in Chisinau is “It will be better without Chirtoaca! Municipality Councilor Oleg Cernei and activist Serghei Barcari submitted documents to the Electoral Council of Electoral District (ECED) no. 1 of Chisinau in order to register for the general local elections of 14 June. They claim that they want to change the current situation in the capital’s mayor’s office and to implement development projects in Chisinau municipality.
