The PCRM presented its team and electoral program for the local elections in Chisinau
The Party of Communists of the Republic of Moldova (PCRM) has officially presented the electoral program of its candidate for Chisinau municipality general mayor, Vasile Chirtoca, and of the 55 candidates for municipal councilors. Both the candidate for mayor and the team of candidates for councilors from the PCRM will appear under no. 1 in the ballots.
Vasili Chirtoca said that Chisinau now needs urgent actions so as not to transform into a decaying megalopolis, without features defining a capital city. According to him, these actions include transformation of the central market into a covered market, gradual removal of casinos from the capital, opening of social canteens in every city district, etc. He also added that that the city needs a competent head, and the slogan under which he joins the electoral campaign is “From words to actions”. // IPN
