“Democratia Acasa (Democracy at Home)” Party (PDA) candidate for mayor of Chisinau, Oleg Brega, has joined the electoral campaign together with the party’s team for municipality council membership. “I want by my own example to teach the people of Chisinau to consume less, have greater demands and more responsibility, ride bicycles, use public transport, which we might make free in order to encourage people to use public transport instead of their own cars. We’ll have zero priority for pedestrians; we’ll free sidewalks from illegally parked cars, illegal kiosks, holes, dust, and waste, so that people could feel at home when they go about the city. After that, we’ll make sure that citizens and experts are consulted when decisions are made at the level of municipality,” Oleg Brega said at the event.

He promised that he would run his campaign without using financial resources, just like he did during the campaign for the parliamentary elections of 30 November 2014. // TRM
