Suspended for several hours, CEC web pages are functional again
The web pages of the Central Electoral Commission (CEC) are functional again after having been suspended following verification by the National Center for Personal Data Protection, based on alleged violations of the legislation on protection of personal data. The verification revealed the publication of over 7,000 documents referring to the CEC correspondence from record keeping systems in the period of 2012–2015.
According to a press release, the two institutions have overcome their differences on this issue. In these conditions, the Commission resumed the work of its web pages. // Unimedia
