Party of Socialists (PSRM) candidate Zinaida Greceanii might win the race for Chisinau mayor’s office in the second round of local elections with 51%, according to a survey by the Association of Sociologists and Demographers of Moldova. The survey showed that among the respondents who voted for Oazu Nantoi in the first round, 48.6% would vote in the second round for Dorin Chirtoaca, 4.1% for Greceanii, and 33.8% could not answer. Among the voters of Ilian Casu, no one would now vote for Chirtoaca, while 78.3% would vote for Greceanii. Among the voters of Vasili Chirtoca, 3% would now vote for Chirtoaca and 21.2% for Greceanii. Among the voters of Oleg Brega, 14.3% would vote for Chirtoaca and no one for Greceanii. Among the voters of Serafim Urechean, 46.9% would vote for Chirtoaca dn 6.3% for Greceanii. Among the voters of Monica Babuc, 40% would vote for Chirtoaca and 10% for Greceanii.

The survey was conducted on a sample of 1,147 persons, including residents of all districts and suburbs of Chisinau municipality, and the margin of error is 2%.
