Biographical Data

Independent candidate to the position of deputy in the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova; specialist in fruit growing; Ph.D in agricultural science, Vice-director of the Marketing Department of the Institute for the Fruit Growing Research; Chairman of the Association of Fruit Growers of the Republic of Moldova; State Award for the Youth Contribution in Science; “Work Glory” Medal.

Ilie Donica was born on August 1, 1958 in the Mateuti village, Rezina district, Orhei county. He graduated Agricultural Institute from Chisinau in 1981. Commencing the same year he worked as (senior) scientific researcher at the Institute for Fruit Growing Research and chief of department. Currently he is Vice-director of the Marketing Department of the Institute for the Fruit Growing Research. He is the author of more than 100 scientific papers. He has three children.
