Constitutional Court chairman comments on elections
The chairman of the Constitutional Court, Victor Puscas, has told a news conference that “year 2005 will be difficult for the Constitutional Court, which will have to decide on validation of the parliamentary scrutiny and election of the chief of state by the new parliament.” Puscas noted that “the examination of legality of elections will be based on correctness of scrutiny and electoral campaign in general.” He underlined that the Constitutional Court did not receive any violation-related appeals until now.

The Association for Participatory Democracy ADEPT has published a booklet comprising the electoral programmes of parties and electoral competitors. It will be available to citizens at all the polling stations.
