Electoral platform of the Republican Party of Moldova

The Republican Party is in its essence intended to represent the interests of the Moldovan people in the country and on the international arena.

The Republican Party of Moldova pronounces itself for:

  1. An integral Moldova, with providing autonomy to Transnistria;
  2. Support of socio-economic and cultural relations first of all with Romania, European countries, USA, China and others;
  3. Maintenance of relations with the members of the Commonwealth of Independent States: Russia, Ukraine, Belarus and others;
  4. An equitable, well-thought, long-term internal and external policy, with ignoring the political and other kind of extremism;
  5. An economic policy with a perspective program for the creation of work places with worthy salaries;
  6. Moldovan (Romanian) language to remain state language, and Russian to be a communication language among Moldovan citizens;
  7. Permanent increase in and indexation of salaries and pensions;
  8. Correct recovery of previously devalued privatization vouchers and bank deposits;
  9. Country’s demilitarization. Moldova is a neutral state and, economically, cannot maintain a modern army;
  10. The state to be responsible for the people’s health — healthcare to be free of charge and guaranteed by the state;
  11. Implementation of modern technologies in the country’s agriculture with the promotion of the local producer on the international market;
  12. A religion independent from state and school.
