I want to be next to you!
Among those who are going to read these lines, there will certainly be people that have at least once visited me at the studio “Buciumul”, where I used to indulge in petty politics. And that has happened because we need to do something to change the situation in the country. Let’s not live with the thought of earning from mercy and let’s have some laws that will allow the peasant, the teacher, the doctor and the artist to support his/her family by means of honest and well paid work and not by serving as slaves abroad. And in order for this to happen, there should exist in the Parliament a certain Tudor Tataru, who is well aware of the laws necessary to ordinary people and not to red-tapists.
In the past, the village people from Borna valley wanted me to get to the Parliament, but I thought that maybe others would do much better work than I. So, I pushed them there as hard as I could. Now I clearly see that I mistook myself! Look at the present Members of Parliament, recall those that were before — how many of them brought good to you? You still have time to think it over before you reach the polls. What can I, Tudor Tataru, do by myself? If I live with the same concerns as you, won’t I know the best thing to do?
In this country the laws are done according to the good will of those from the top. But there should come a time when the laws are issued to bring good to ordinary people as well. And, if you tell me about your concerns, needs, so that I become tougher on the market, will I need other counsellors at making laws? So, let’s shake hands: I, Tudor Tataru, am ready to be your man in the Parliament!
