On September 30, 2010 forty high school students from around the country have been invited to the Central Electoral Commission to mark the Young Voter Day, held this year under the title “A Day at the Central Electoral Commission”. The young people had the opportunity to understand how the system of Moldovan electoral bodies works, what the CEC is dealing with, to participate in developing civic education materials. The action Young Voter Day was launched in 2006 and is in its fifth edition. (Central Electoral Commission)

During the day of September 30, 2010 the website of the Central Electoral Commission www.cec.md was inoperative, without any reasons being officially stated. Meanwhile, the models of documents to be submitted for registration as candidate in parliamentary elections of November 28, 2010 were posted on CEC website www.voteaza.md. Please note that on the date of constitutional referendum the CEC website has been inoperative for several hours, due to the overloading, as stated later on.
