Liberal Democratic Party of Moldova (PLDM) has officially launched its campaign for parliamentary elections of November 28, 2010 during an outdoor meeting held in square of the Opera and Ballet Theatre in Chisinau, which, according to organizers, was attended by over 5000 party members and sympathizers. PLDM President Vladimir Filat presented an electoral manifesto entitled “Commitment to Moldova Without Poverty”, which contains 6 priority actions to be taken in fighting against poverty:
- Creating a strong, efficient economy, offering new jobs
- Caring for people with low incomes
- Fighting against corruption
- Speeding up the integration of Moldova into the European Union
- Roads, water, gas
- Housing for young people and families with low incomes
LDPN states it will focus its energy, in the campaign and afterwards, on fighting against poverty, and not against some political party.
The party “Moldova Unita (United Moldova)” (PMUEM) has convened the meeting of the party’s republican core group, where it launched its campaign for parliamentary elections of November 28, 2010. The meeting was held in the Trade Union House, with the participation of about 400 delegates from all the country’s districts, and adopted a resolution on parliamentary elections, promising to ensure order in several areas:
- Economics;
- Social policy;
- Domestic and foreign policy;
- Sphere of interethnic relations, etc.
The main electoral slogan of PMUEM remains “We Will Make Order In The Country”.
