Democratic Party of Moldova (PDM) officially launched its campaign for parliamentary elections in the presence of party members and candidates, media and honourable guests. The event was attended by representatives of the Socialist International, the Social Democratic Group in the European Parliament, the parties “Edinaya Rossia” (Russian Federation), Social Democratic Party (Romania) and the Party of European Socialists. PDM leadier, Marian Lupu, stated the party is willing to provide Moldova with “a democratic welfare, consistent solutions to build a strong, integral and strengthened country, with a constructive and efficient government without corruption and nepotism, decent living and social inclusion, guaranteed social assistance, fair justice”. PDM aims to return people’s confidence in politicians and has chosen the electoral slogan “FOR MOLDOVA! FOR YOU!”
