The Party of Socialists of the Republic of Moldova (PSRM) organized protests in Balti, Ungheni and Cahul, and they were attended by several thousand citizens dissatisfied with the current government. During the protests, socialists insisted on the following: to immediately suspend the implementation of the Association Agreement with the EU and initiate negotiations with the Russian Federation at the highest level with a view to returning Moldovan products onto the Russian market; to open, within a very short time, a number of voting precincts in the Russian Federation that would be proportionate to the total number of Moldovan migrants; to extend the possibility of voting with old-type passports until 1 July 2015; and to provide compensations for all agricultural producers.
