Iurie Leanca submitted to the CEC petitions in his support for presidential elections
The initiative group to support EPPM candidate for President of the Republic of Moldova, Iurie Leanca, presented to the Central Electoral Commission petitions with the signatures of over 20,000 people collected in about 260 localities.
According to the CEC, within seven days from the filing date, the Commission should examine the set of documents, verify petitions submitted and decide on registration or refusal to register candidates for elections.
In the last day for application for the registration of initiative groups to support candidates for President, at the Central Electoral Commission have been submitted requests from three independent candidates:
Vasile Tarlev
Maia Laguta
Georgeta Savitchi
In accordance with the legal provisions, within 3 days from the receipt of the documents submitted, the Commission will verify their correctness and will decide on registration or refusal of registration of initiative groups.
