Andrei Nastase presented to the CEC subscription lists for presidential elections

The initiative group in support of Andrei Nastase, the party leader of “Dignity and Truth” Platform (PPDA), submitted to the Central Electoral Commission the signatures required to register as presidential candidate. PPDA leader said they collected over 25 thousand signatures in 29 administrative territorial units.

According to the law, within seven days from the filing date, the Commission should examine the set of documents, verify the submitted petitions and decide on registration or refusal to register candidates for elections.

Journalists will monitor the integrity of the electoral candidates

Center for Analysis and Prevention of Corruption, Center for Investigative Journalism and Ziarul de Garda have launched an initiative for transparent presidential elections. Under this initiative candidates in the presidential elections will be monitored, violations committed by them will be identified and free legal assistance in electoral disputes will be offered. Also, all the violations registered by the candidates, the schemes in which they have been involved, their shady businesses will be highlighted and shown on a “corruption map” on anticoruptie.md portal . // IPN

An independent candidate presented his electoral slogan and symbol

Artur Croitor, independent candidate for the President of the Republic of Moldova, will enter the presidential race with the slogan: “Enhancing the society — economic development” and his electoral symbol is a stork with a branch in its beak. If elected president, Artur Croitor intends to organize a people’s National Assembly where to discuss the national legislation and the Constitution adopted 25 years ago without a national referendum. He said that a Moldovan citizen is any person holding an Moldovan identity card regardless of ethnicity. Moldovan is the state language, he said. // IPN

Andrei Volentir: there will be opened 100 polling stations abroad
