Non-Governmental Organizations
Regardless of how they are called NGOs, non-for-profit, non-governmental organizations, civil society, third sector, etc they all have one definition - voluntary, independent, self-governing formations, arising as a result of free and conscious will of citizens, joined together on the basis of common professional or other interests of their members for mutual exercise of economic, social and cultural rights; they are not intended to produce profit.
